  Main course meals were well presented and tasty. Service was excellent. Desert was a disappointment and would suggest going elsewhere. Wine prices are steep at an avg of $18 glass. The biggest reason I would not go back to this restaurant is the seats. They are extremely uncomfortable. High step up chairs with no back support and seats that look nice but, because the padding is end of life, it's like being perched on a square toilet seat.

  Wonderful service - the head chef actually came out to seat us and staff were extremely attentive. However the menu seemed limited, and the layout of the restaurant has the kitchen and the seating area right next to each other, open plan...so it got hot quite quickly. Maybe
  
  Food was excellent, but priced a little high for what you get. Not a bad restaurant by any means, but not enough highlights to put it on a "must-see" list.

  We just got back from the restaurant and it was amazing! The food was classy, innovative, and most of all tasty. Presented beautifully, the meal was completely​ satisfying and the servers were awesome. Ashley was fantastic, pointing out the highlights of each dish and offering excellent suggestions for accompanying drinks. This was the best meal I have had in a long time. Redbeard.

  Had a near-perfect meal just before Valentine's Day. Great service and ambience. Lemon-ashed Venison was amazing. The maple old fashioned I had was killer too. Better spot than most restaurants in Van or Victoria.
